"No Piracy: DO NOT post links to 'warez sites'. Do not discuss pirating games, bragging about pirating or anything else. This will get your account suspended or banned. The only possible thing you CAN discuss is the so-called 'cracks' for no CD operation. SOME Games don't work on some peoples CD-ROM's. This is because of a special copy protection called 'Safe Disc'. But that is it. Anything else is considered pirating." |
You might consider DeepBurner. The free version doesn't have all the features of the full version, but is enough for anything I use it for. And free for personal use.

Makes sense dude, all i see is a perfectly legal question and you get spooked ? Makes you wonder why they even sell programs like Nero and Alcohol 120%, doesn't it ? I would hate for someone to post a reply and get into trouble for discussing the best ones for getting around software protection, we have lost too many good people over the years, self regulation is much better than having a Mod spell it out to people :D |
What exactly are you wanting to do? If just file back-up etc..WinXp's built in file transfer works just fine.
On the spousal units desktop, which is a windoze rig, my combination is WinXp, and the same free deep burner Iron pointed out. Those two can do everything we need copied, or backed up. Have you ever visited? http://www.download.com |
And if Deepburner aint your thing, you can also try CD Burner XP ;)
