Any fans of his work here?

When I was very young, I saw the movie Excalibur (an awsome movie) for the first time. Since then I've always liked O Fortuna. At least I think it's called O Fortuna. Epic!

Yes, it's O Fortuna from the opera Carmina Burana, the first piece of Trionfi. It's about the immortal and unbeatable human spirit, hope and those kinds of things. And yes, I am pretty much addicted to the man. When I listen to Carmina Burana, the end of it, Full Circle I believe it's called, never fails to send shivers down my spine.

Yeah, I remember now, takes me back. Do they sell the whole thing on cd? If they do, I think I'll buy it.

Is he the guy that designed the kid's music program? If so, my brother took it and seemed to enjoy it.

Stratos 02-22-2006 07:45 AM

Well, Orff is a German composer. I don't know of any kid's music programs.
