This is my first time playing the game, and I was wondering when the Anomen romance is supposed to start. I've already gotten past the death of his sister, and I've done everything that everyone said to do, but nothing has developed.

How am I supposed to know that we're together? ? ?

I don't know what to do... When does it start, how do I know, and what am I supposed to do? ? ?

Welcome to IW n'stuff! Anytime he talks to you and the sappy music plays it's part of your ongoing romance. So yes it's already started if you're playing a female that Anomen can romance.

First of all, welcome to Ironworks [img]smile.gif[/img] What race are you? half orcs, gnomes, halflings and dwarves can't romance anomen.

Anomen only romances humans, elves, and half-elves AFAIK.

During any conversation you had with him, did you insult him or tell him you weren't interested in hearing what he had to say? Perhaps while you were in the middle of a battle? This will end any possibilities of the romance happening right there. If you want to know for sure, download Shadowkeeper & check in the Global Variables for the value of "AnomenRomanceActive". If it's a 3, then it's all over, but if it's a 1 or 2, everything's hunky-dory.

Also, the romance won't start if you've started the Windspear Hills quest already. You need to finish it before the romance will start.

well actually, he *will* romance halflings....he hit on my swashbuckler the first time I played SoA.

He started the romance with my half orc barbarian, just the first couple of convos but after the first 2, he stopped and I diddn't insult him.
