I joined this forum just to make a very specific question, and now I'm really glad I did before I even made that question, after reading that 'funny moments' topic and laughing real hard picturing them.

So here's the question, ladies n gentlemen:
Is there really no way to have a romance with a male NPC if you have a female character?

Which leads to this other question (feel free to imagine it made in the whiniest tone possible):
Why?....

Yes, you can get a romance if you happen to have a female character. The only disadvantage is that you will have to take Anomen with you, and some people.. well, most people don't really like him. But then again, maybe romancing Anomen is cool.. someway. The bad thing is that Anomen is the ONLY NPC which can be romanced when you have a female character. Being a male character provides you with more choices concerning romances. Hope this helps!

Have you played the entire game through? If so, I'd recommend downloading the Solaufein mod. If not, I suggest you either bite the bullet and romance Anomen or DL the mod anyway. You can get it here:

Yeah, normally female protagonists only get one romance option, Anomen, but I've done that romance several times, and I didn't think it was that bad. But then again I have more patience for his whining than most others, I guess. He's really a very well developed NPC if you choose to stick with him. I'd reccomend it.

But if you just can't stand him, you should try the Kelsey mod. Actually, even if you can stand Anomen, you should try Kelsey any way!

the twist of this game is that when youre a female player youll end up with ANomen (i hate this guy) and he sucks!!! my sister plays fire with kelsey, hes far cooler than Anomen.

Firstly get the Game Patches mentioned in this thread.
These will fix a number of bugs in your game, which can be very useful when you`re putting a mod on.
THEN, and only then get the Kelsey mod.

Doing it in this order makes sure you don`t end up with bugs that can`t be fixed without uninstalling the mod [img]smile.gif[/img] </font>

But I never really had a problem with Anomen, but I have to put up with alotta aggravating people like him in real life, so I guess a have a natural tolerance for those kinds of personalities. Just give him another chance, try and get past the first few dialogues, which are ultimately the worst

If you want some fun, download either the SoA or the ToB version of the all-romances hack. You can have ALL the romances with ALL the romantic options at one time. The best part is, sex and race don't matter. How bout wooing Viconia as a female Half-Orc barbarian!!!!!
