Has anyone heard of this program, this company, or anything about them? I'm strongly leaning towards doing this program, it sounds cool, and beats hauling rocks, though I didn't mind it actually.

Ehm, let me answer your question with a question. Do you like teaching, interacting with people who will most likely have widely differing views on just about everything, and how well do you work when you're thrown a curveball?

I also noticed the site was in Chinese (well for me anyway). Coming to China by chance? If so, there are a plethora of companies here, and I encourage you to look into several for comparison purposes. I'm not familiar with that particular company as such, but then again here in Shanghai they all make the same boasts and promise similar compensation as the next guy. Not so much help, I know, but I wish you luck in finding someone with firsthand experience working with that company. Just because it's written, doesn't make it so, so you really need to talk with someone that can give you an honest opnion of where they fall short and where they provide what they say.

I do know, though, that if you're doing it in China, you'll probably be teaching small children and will definitely be working on Saturday and Sunday. Make sure they sponsor proper work visas (they should) and try to get them to pay for the costs of the visa process. A lot of companies are quirky here, where they'll either demand a current work visa (if they do, you DO NOT want to work for them) or they'll make you pay all the costs yourself (it adds up and is laden in bureaucracy a mile high).

At any rate, do as much research as you can. As they say, "there's the 'truth', and there's the truth."

China? Mine was in English... for their St Petersburg, Russia location. I assume that would be for learning Russian...

I guess the page detects from browser settings or IP adress the country you are in and gives the page to you in that language. ;)

Anyways, what do you think of it? Does anyone have any experience with another firm that offers this type of foreign language learning (I'm leaning either China, Japan or Russia), but has offices in Toronto?

Oh, I see, sorry. My browser pulled up a Chinese site with a mention of some Russian in it. My bad, I jusw saw EF, then a massive Chinese website and associated it with the EF that I'm familiar with in China. (They specialize in teaching English to locals, so it was an easy mistake for me.) Been in China waay too long.
