I'd be grateful if any of the local Swedes would translate the following sentence into Swedish:

Then she goes to the internet and searches for information about how to reduce her weight.

Thanks in advance!

Ooh, ooh! I've been studying swedish for 6 years now!

Let's see...

...

Don't know what "then" is..."she" is "hon", I think, but that's about all I know

edit: asked a swedish friend, and he said it's:

och så gick hon ut på nätet och letade efter information om hur hon kunde minska hennes vikt

Hope it helps

according to http://www.systranbox.com/systran/box it is:

Därefter går söker hon till interneten och för information om hur man förminskar her vikt

but I cannot confirm that... Hope this helps.

Well, the first one translates back to "And so went she out on the net and searched after information about how she could decrease her weight" and the second to "Then goes applies for she to net and for information about how one decrements her folded." so I'd go with what the swede said

yeah...I just translated it back too....hmmmm....but if you want to go with the SWEDE's, then whatever ;)

Later,

The quoted sentence is in the wrong tense.

I would say: "Och/Sen så går hon ut på nätet/internet och letar efter information om hur hon kan minska sin vikt".

That is the most ridiculus and errorful swedish sentence i've ever seen.
It would be: "Then goes searches she to internet's and for information about how you reduce -her-(does not exist in Swedish common vocabulary) weight."

My translation (i'm swede yes): Present tense: "Sen så går hon ut på internet och söker efter information om hur hon ska sänka hennes vikt."
Past tense: "Sen så gick hon ut på internet och sökte efter information om hur hon skulle sänka hennes vikt."

I don't think the "och" in Raistlins version would be too appropriate, but it's not wrong. That would be more like: "And then she..."
