when I download portraits for BG2 SoA where do i save them to?

Welcome to Ironworks.

To Save portraits for ANY of the BG/IWD games, go into My Computer / C drive / Program Files / Black Isle / BG SoA ...... then CREATE A NEW FOLDER, entitled Portraits.

Save any portraits there (and remember to ReName them using an L or S on the end for the Large and Small portraits respectively).

Then, start your game, click on the character whose portrait you want to change. When the Personal page comes up, click on CUSTOMIZE and choose Portrait.

This will bring up a pop-up screen that will automatically list the available Portraits stored in the Portraits folder you created. Simply choose the one you want and click on it. Then click OK.

You're done. </font>

In BG2 SoA the portrait folder already exists.
