I'm a fallen Cavalier. What happened? I was busy kicking but and all of a sudden I can't use my weapon anymore. I tried donating large sums of money but no luck. What can I do?

Err.... try talking to a person in the center of the Radiant Heart. The person that u talk to is the person which gives u the paladin stronghold quests. After talking to him and getting the quests, u turn back to a Paladin. I think that is how u get rid of the "fallen" title. I may be wrong.

You probably killed an innocent or two during one of your butt-kicking forays and didn't realize it. Collateral damage from an area effect spell or lightning bolt, perhaps? Do you have the party's AI turned on? Anyway, if your rep falls enough you get the "fallen paladin" moniker, and no amount of money donated to the temple will bring it back. I would try these three things:

1. Reload a save game, if you have one from before the fall.

2. Do the paladin stronghold quest, as Jon Irenicus suggests. Is the sword you're referring to Carsomyr? If so you may have already done so. In that case you have no other "legal" solution to your problem and you'll have to cheat.

3. Get Shadowkeeper and change your paladin's status. I'm not sure what variable you'll have to manipulate, but it should be fairly easy to figure out. Don't forget to boost your rep back to acceptable levels.

you cannot rewind your soul to its previous state. try using the shadowkeep (but dont cheat your character.. it will bore you) that the only way, or... start a new game.

As for your fallen status, the only ways i can think of to get rid of it hae been said.

I found a save(not too far back),that was before I fell. I had a pretty hairy fight going over this guy that wanted his silver blade back. The fight just kind of sprung up in town and I guess I wasted a few locals in the heat of it.
At least I didn't spill my beer! he he

Heh heh, watching a heavily armored Paladin wielding Carsomyr in one hand (a feat in itself to be sure) and balance a huge grog of beer in the other and not spilling a drop during a vicious battle would be a sight to behold ;)

Well, hey, if Minsc can do it (although, technically, Boo is not an alcoholic beverage), then I guess Paladins can too. :D

Perhaps the paladins where a beer helmet instead? I have one of those, except a hat not a helmet. Very useful. [img]smile.gif[/img]
