What do you guys think of Anomen? As I've been soloing my through SoA, I've starting thinking about picking Anomen to do the hero romance. That means that I'll likely be hauling him through the bulk of the game, even though I'm "soloing." Is he worth it or not? Seems rather annoying. BG2 needs more romances for female characters *sigh*

Well, in my opinion, hes a jerk, but eh, its not me playing! [img]smile.gif[/img] If you don't mind pseudo-soloing, pick him up and see if you like him. I find him annoying myself though.

Anomen....annoying, annoying, annoying, and...oh! did I mention annoying? ;)

Here's a tip for Anomen, even though you would have to be playing a male, so this doesn't quite apply to you. Anyways, if you drag him along thru Nalia's Keep, he only says one thing (at least in my experience), and it's between him and Yoshimo, so there is little to brag about. If you take your time, as soon as you return to a civilized area, those knights tell you to go see his father. After he does his song and dance, command Anomen not to seek revenge on Saerk. Soon after, he will have his judgement into the Order, and he gets quite a bit of humility (or maybe he gets his lips sewn together) from being accepted in, because he has said nothing to me so far. Nothing annoying, or boastful, or self righteous. Actually, he hasn't opened his mouth since... hmm... Well, it worked for me, and he's a heck of a fighter now.

No. i took him down with me to fight them vampires and he died like more then I did.. got sick of it and thats where i left him [img]smile.gif[/img] besides he is a whiney lil biatch...got sick of him real quick just from his crappy attitude.

Atleast he's not as mean as Viconia and a decent fighter/cleric if you do his quest right ;) Just ignore his whining ............... err if you can :D My first experience with him was not that bad ......... but then i dont usually take offence from some dumb fighter/cleric NPC ;) :D
