When (under what conditions) can you get the Ring of Wizardry? I know that it has to do with Jaheira.

I am waiting to get the ring so that I can finally remove Jaheira from my team and make room for others. I'm not going after her romance (this game) so I'm really only interested in her for her link to the Ring of Wizardry.

Thanks.

There's a RoW in this game?! Yes, someone please tell more.

Well, I think that you can get your apprentices in the mage stronghold to make you one, but... hmm... Jaheira?? Don't know.

When you have to confront Galvarey with Jaheira, he has a Ring of Wizardry on him.

I think you're right, but IIRC there's a chance they'll flub the attempt. Better to get Galvarey's.

Ah, thanks.
Well, I think you don'T need to have the Jaheira romance to get the harper trouble, though it takes longer, since you need to perform some dialoges between events. YOu just need to have her in the party.

In my experience this is only partly true. I've found that it actually takes less time to get the initial Harper trouble when you don't have the Jaheira romance. The trick, unless your protagonist belongs to a race that is ineligible for the romance, is to tick her off during the initial dialogues so that love is not possible when the Harper quest begins. When in doubt, use Shadowkeeper to check the value of the "JaheiraRomanceActive" variable.

If the romance is not active then, after Xzar is killed, Meronia should immediately appear and tell J to meet with the Harpers. After that it's just a matter of when you rest. If the romance is active it should take several game days for the summons to occur.

If you have TDD, there is another, in... ummm I forgot the name but it is the city with the same map as The Friendly Arm Inn in the original game, down the bottom of the screen in a tree. Use TAB to find it because it's hidden well.

Hi, Arwyn!

OK I reread your post and I now see what you meant. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I'm going to assume, since you're from Germany, that German is your native tongue If that's the case, I think your English is damn good, better than a lot of the native English speakers on this board. Anyway, just my 2 cents worth.
