Don Adams has died, age 82. I doubt there's an episode of Get Smart I haven't seen at least 3 times, and of course Inspector Gadget would not have been the same without his voice. Very sad!

Argh thats sad, I used to love Get Smart, "Missed it by that much" :D

Will get my hands on the movie and a pile of the episodes this weekend.

Heard about this on the wireless today. Couldn't believe he was 82! Seems like only yesterday i was watching him "battling wits" with C.H.A.O.S. *trails off in reminiscence*.

Inspector Gadget was one of my favourite cartoons. Haven't seen it for donkeys but i can still clearly remember his almost cliched one-liners. "Wowzers!" "Go, go, Gadget *insert name of impossible (but cool) secret agent apparatus here*".

It's a shame he didn't make it to at least 86. That would have been fitting.

Rest in peace. And go have a good discussion in the cone of silence with the big chief in the sky...

With respsect to not making it to 86, I guess you could say he missed it by *that* much... ;)

Get Smart was a childhood obsession for me...during summer I would stay up until 2 AM just to watch that show...
