Hey guys! Long time no read!

Anyway can anyone help me? I can't see pics (gifs etc.) in Firefox for some reason. Any ideas?

Go to preferences and select the third menu (the globe - forgot the title). There should be an option called "Read Images". Put a mark there. If it doesn't help or isn't the case I cannot help.

Control Panel --> Install/Uninstall Programs --> Uninstall Firefox and install IE :D

good luck, btw! Did MD's advice help?

Worst advice ever Zebodog. IE is old history. Poor security. Doesn't conform to any intelligent standards. Doesn't even conform to it's own weird standards. If you want an alternative Opera > IE.

I don't agree with IE having poor security. The only reason it has poor security is because it's so popular. Take the people that are hacking IE and have them try to hack Firefox or Opera and you'll end up with the same result.

Heh, if you can't beat the man, join the man!

All is good, except install Opera.

...which means, that since IE is more popular, that it gets hacked more!

Whatever the reason (popularity, sloppy coding, martian invasion) IE have worse security. For an end consumer like myself the actual reason for that matters very little. Now if IE was a better product - easier to use, smoother and faster page views and so on - I might consider using it in place of Firefox.
Why on earth would you even make a post that suggests uninstalling Firefox and replace it with IE? Have you used Firefox for any length of time?

While I have only worked with JavaScript as an amateur I have worked with it enough to say that coding anything to fit IE is about as much fun as dropping a bowling ball on your pinky toe. Just thinking about it hurts.
