Hehe, I got the very same thing a few days ago. But Princ Abo Kassal from South African Republic with his royal family on the run from the coup takes the cake... Too bad I deleted it :(

I get similar things all the time. I read somewhere about the scam artists in African nations being cut back, but some are apparently still operating. It is nice to dream though...
|
They don't easily give up, our Nigerian scamartists, don't they ? :D They must have had a few successes in the past, otherwise i can't see why they keep doing this. I can't believe there are actually people dumb enough to give their bankinfo to guys like this.
|
Yes, they had successes, that's why this thing won't stop. I've read some of the stories in reader's digest. Unfortunately the people who fell for this kind of scam are the ones that are "well educated" people.

Wow, you should totally take this offer, I had a similar offer recently and decided to run along with it, and they were so nice and polite, I expect to get my millions anyday now...
|
Ahhh, good luck with that.
*waits for Jorath Calar's name to appear in the paper for funding illigeal activity* |
Well answer him! Say that you're scared of giving your bank info in the internet and ask to meet him in person in some really crowded and expensive place. Don't show up. Then when he mails you and asks for a reason for this, tell him you meant some other place.

My favourite dodgy emails at the moment are in two different halves.
The top half is about some great adult site or other, written my an cretin who can't spell. The bottom is just some completely random stuff. i just don't get the bottom bit at all |
