Is it possible to run a PS2 through the laptop...as in, just using the laptops monitor as your tv screen...
Any USB to scart cables available? Could someone please tell me if this is possible, and if it is, exactly how/what I'd need to do it? Thanx, |
It would be theoretically possible if you can find a TV capture card in PCMCIA that you could plug into the laptop.
Then use the video-in to display the PS/2's output on the laptops monitor. |
Can I have that in laymans terms please?
|
Not really. You can try it through a TV Tuner. These come in internal cards as well as external devices that connect via USB.
I have read that with alot of tv tuners there is 1-2 second lag in response time between the controller and whats happening on the screen. Do a check at newegg.com or do a google/froogle search for "laptop tv tuner PS2" and see what comes up. |
I strongly doubt it would work.
It wouldn't look very good anyway... |
it works with a TV Tuner but tuners usually have a delay which makes playing games nearly impossible. I once took screenshots of my bud David doing the Blitz Ball Technique in FFX in order to make an animated Gif. It took him 11 tries before he was able to time it perfectly to the screen and compensate for the delay.
