Just realized the irony today at work, while grinding down some steel channel. I am an Ironworker (at least for the summer) in more than one sense of the word. Anybody else do any industrial fabrication?
Ironworking is a wonderful thing ;) |
LOL congrats Ilander! Watch out for the vibrations if you pound something LOL! Guess that makes you an Ironworker Ironworker LOL (IWIW). :D
|
Something like that :D
I get to grind and weld and beat things with a hammer, and cut things with various highly dangerous objects like the ominously named "Plasma-cutter" or an acetylene torch, or a horizontal band saw... OOOOOhhhhh, all the ways I could crush, break, or impale myself... :D |
lol, Ilander the Ironworking Ironworker, congrats
|
Well then get back to work, peon! :D
HT - haven't you eaten enough of that yellow crap by now? You remind me of the D12 song Purple Pills , except you're high on yellow ones :D [ 05-23-2005, 10:32 PM: Message edited by: Vaskez ] |
Now you did it...my husband is drooling over the word "Plasma-cutter"!
LOL, so you're an ironworking Ironworker! :D |

I used to grind gears for a living, back in my college days. Used to stamp metal parts, too. Spot-welded a couple of times, but that wasn't really my strong suit.
Congrats on the new job! Hope it works out well for the summer. |
Welcome to the world of metal working, I run the VBM in my sig.

The irony of being an ironworker ironworker? Amazing!
