Gee, I must be having a bad week or something. First it's the stupid phone scam, now this:

I've been helping my family get ready for a yard sale. Unfortunately it's been raining, so the signs I put up are probably a bit soggy, but hopefully it won't rain during the sale. When I got home later this evening, I found out that while my younger sister was home alone, someone called and asked if we were having a garage sale. When she answered 'yes,' they said that whomever put up our signs had torn theirs down, and then they said some unkind words to her and threatened to call again at midnight.

Talk about immature... They threaten a young girl who has no idea what they're talking about, and they aren't even smart enough to consider that maybe the rain made their sign fall off (I know I didn't take any signs down, and I put up our signs...). I'll find out in about 20 minutes if they hold true to that call-at-midnight threat... And considering their reaction, they probably tore my signs down... :(

Anyone else have a story or two like this that you'd like to share?

<font color=skyblue>I would suggest any further communication with this person be directed at letting them know that harrassment will not be tolerated and that you will get the authorities involved if it continues. People tend to shut up when the threat of a suit being filed against them comes up.</font>

And the good ol' *69 to call 'em back and tell 'em that works as well... :D
