Is there a "Search" to dig up from the past topics? So ppl don't have to repeat themselves. Would be a nice touch to this Forum. Shouldn't be too hard to implement should it?

Actually Lord Ziroc decided to get rid of the search feature 'cause it was taking too much bandwith or slowing down the server... atleast that's what i've been told.
Oh and the search feature wont help much, rookies have the habit of asking the same questions over and over :rolleyes: and it keeps the veterans busy ;)

And it raises post counts. ;)

I would hope that nobody is doing this to raise post counts. ;)

Anyway with the search function, I wish I could tell you when we can put it back on but the honest answer is that I don't know myself. It appears to be slowing the forum down and leading to crashes when it's used by too many people at once, so until Ziroc fixes that particular bug I guess we'll just have to presevere with it.

I know what it feels like - it's frustrating having to spend 30 mins trying to find a post you made a few months ago (my Monsters of The Underdark epic, for example) when it could be anywhere from page 30 to page 60. [img]graemlins/awcrap.gif[/img]

I wish I could use the search function too. [img]tongue.gif[/img] There are a lot of good threads by a motley crew of people that I like to refer newcomers to whenever it is relevant.

Saves a lot of time typing too. ;)

As it is, I am now bookmarking good threads for future reference.
