On my other PC I have a 64mb Nvidia GeForce 4400 graphics card, and I need the drivers updated.
I run windows XP. So i went to the Nvidia site (www.nvidia.com), and downloaded the drivers for that card, on that OS. When I tried to install, it said that hardware was not found. Does anyone know where I can get the latest Nvidia drivers for my card? Really need them. (The one I downloaded was like 19.7mb) URL's would be really useful! Cheers, Brad |
Nvidia use a unified driver distribution, the same program will install the drivers for all Nvidia cards.
This: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_71.89.html is the file you should have. If you got that one, I dont know what the problem is. |
I lately had trouble with the newest drivers in both linux and windows. I'm using an older version now. Don't know might work.

Try searching for them manually. If the GPU is already installed (the cannot find hardware messages makes me think otherwise...) then go to device manager, click on display adapters, right click on your card, click properties -> driver, update driver, click install from a list or specific location (Advanced), check "include this location in search" and browse for the directory you have unzipped the new driver too.
That should work. |
