I HAVE PICKED UP ALL THE SWORDS, KEYS, POTIONS THAT I COULD FIND. WHAT AM I MISSING. IS THERE A TRAP DOOR OR AN OGRE THAT I AM MISSING. COULD SOMEONE FILL ME IN ON THIS-I AM A NEWBIE.

In the room containing the spider there should be a key. This key can be used to open a door in the other end of the hall near the entrance. There should be a gem somewhere within. Once you have aquired this gem you should return to upstairs to end the tutorial.

You will, of course, not be able to keep any aquired items or wealth, and only the XP that your main character earns will stick, even though you will meet Imoen, Minsc and Jaheira shortly after. Remember to diligently search every possiple nook or cranny for loot.
