Ahh, but I got here first. Let's take a look at a few deities of each rank...
Ao is pronounced AY-oh, like the two letters.

DR- Divine Rank. Higher DR, the more powerful the deity.

Eilistraee- Lesser Deity DR 7
20 levels in Bard, 15 levels in Fighter, 5 levels in Cleric.
Str 24, Dex 42, Con 24, Int 29, Wis 24, Cha 38.

Azuth- Lesser Deity DR 10
20 levels in Wizard, 5 levels in Archmage, 5 levels in Arcane Devotee, 10 levels in Loremaster, 20 levels in Cleric. (Archmage, Arcane Devotee, and Loremaster are prestige classes)
Str 24, Dex 25, Con 28, Int 50, Wis 32, Cha 26

Malar- Lesser Deity DR 10
20 levels in Ranger, 10 in Druid, 10 in Barbarian

I don't know if Ao is even sentient in the common sense. It is more a force than a god.

Ao's sentinent, because his consent is needed to elevate any mortal to godhood, and all that, blah blah blah. He just doesn't have a personality, I think, because he needs to be absolutely neutral in his rulings. I don't know, I could be wrong.
