Well, thank goodness we can save a few brats from time to time to justify all those billions spent on the whole amber alert system.

I didn't think there was that much money being spent on the Amber Alert system. I thought they just notified the radio and Tv station to brodcast the alert so the public could be on the look out. Of course no telling what else is in the original bills that were passed.

TL I hope your being sarcastic. If it was your kid taken, you would stop at nothing to bring them home and wouldn't care the cost.

We're the richest country in the world, and this is one of the things I don't at all mind my hard earned money going towards. Would be great if we spent some more on programs to prevent these types of things from even happening.

That amber system didn't even do anything, the boyfriend turned them in. Anyway, he took them, so it's not like some random guy on the street taking them., and where did anyone get the impression that they would/had been harmed?
