My husband and I are going to be shopping for a new car and have been looking through the consumer magazines and websites and getting feedback from some of our family and friends so I thought I'd ask my friends at IW what they're driving! :D

What make/model of car do you own now? (or have you had in the past) And how long have you had it? (or did you have it)

How do you like it?

Is it a fuel hog or economical?

Has it been reliable (ie- have you had to do a lot of repairs or very few since you got it?)

Would you buy the same thing if you were replacing it tomorrow?

Bah! What are you talking about Cloudy? You should be riding a motorbike :D
Much more fun :D

At the moment I'm driving a Toyota Camery 2002 Model. Very reliable, had no mechanical probelms with it.

It is good with the fuel (it get about 500Km to a 55 litre tank - this is city driving, long distance I get about 700Km to the tank)

If I was replacing it tomorrow I would still get a toyota.

'01 Honda Accord, although it seems like I got it yesterday. I've been driving Honda since '91 and I won't switch. For non Honda the Camry would be my second choice though. The American stuff just doesn't stack up IMHO and the review mags too!

I'd go with either Honda Accord or Nissan Sentra. Then again, if I had a lot of free money, I'd get me a Dodge Viper just for the sake of looks.

German cars tend to be reliable, go Merc or BMW :D or Audi

Send money, they like 'em to be paid for when you take 'em off the lot!

LOL yeah I wish i could afford a BMW as well.

Send money to T-D-C's BMW fund (though I may spend it on a Monaro)

I'd get a car that's a year or two old. You can get a top-line model with all the features you'd want (and some you wouldn't ) for the price of a new base model. And if you get it from a dealership, you can get a warranty with it as well.
