I assume you mean magical, and I'd would say no. That's why their special http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif However, I cannot say whether this would affect generically enhanced weapons. It's been awhile since I played.

In the story, you discover that Iron is being tainted, and nobody is having any luck at all with any of their machinery and weapons, etc.

A normal iron sword would break for you as well, but ones that are improved, such as +1 swords and swords that are not made of iron will not.

What if, some real powerful magician took an normal sword, that was made out of iron, and enchanted it. Would that break Larry?

Any magical weapon should never break. Also, in the beginning of the game I usually tend to keep one or two non-metal weapons in the group as spares or equip my front-line fighters with a couple swords, so that if one does break I can quickly switch over to another one and then drop the ruined one as soon as the battle is over...

Hehe, you know, the whole everything iron breaking part of the plot was rather stupid in some ways... things made out of the new iron breaking makes sense, but, well, unless there are hordes of sneaky things running around tarnishing every single old iron item around, things like the farmer's plows (which most of them have had for quite a while, no doubt), wouldn't be breakinghttp://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif
