Sometimes when I try to access things on IW, I'll get a connection refused message... that the ironworksforum.com domain is rejecting my connection. Now, while I'm used to rejection, I haven't seen this before until just recently. Anything new going on?

And yeah, it would be helpful if I had things like the times it happens and the exact error messages. I'll keep track of that the next time it happens.

Maybe Ziroc hates you. Have you paid your 10% tithe?

I've been having time-out msgs and 'can't find the page' errors alot lately. Haven't seen that one, though, Bungleau! I'll ask about it!

If I use Netsacpe I always get the "connection refused message" . If I use IE I always get the " Page not found message". I guess they are the same thing.

<span style="color: lightblue">Well, they kindof are. IE uses "user-friendly" errors, which essentially translates to giving you the same error page, regardless of the error that actually happened. Gecko (which is the browsing engine used by Firefox, Mozilla, Netscape, and several others use) tells you the specific error.

Well, I HAVE been messing with trying to figure out why I'm getting that duel 10.102 IP address 1 hop from me.. It SEEMS to be an IP inside the cablemodem.. and it's causing high pings at times. So it's been up and down for a week now.

I'm going to call again and get them out here to f'ing figure out WHY it's doing this.

Also, we need more bandwidth guys. It's that simple. The next upgrade is only $50 more, so if you're all willing to help pay it, I'll upgrade the bandwidth for us. This will solve many slow downs you see I think.

Argh. I called just now, and they did a certain test, and we FINALLY after months of this ping crap found out what is wrong. THE LINKSYS router is dying. UGH.

Anyone wanna help donate to get a replacement to fix this, I would be SO happy. This is a relief in so many ways.. you have no idea how many HOURS I have been digging into both machines trying to figure out what the hell is going on. :(

If you can donate, click the top area of the site, I COULD run out tomorrow and replace it.

How much would a new one cost? My wife lost her job a few weeks ago so money will be a little tight until she finds a new one but I can put something towards it.
