Going up to a nerd who knows a subject really well (not serious, like math or physics, I mean like comic books or movies), and asking them a stupid question. Like "Who would win in a fight? Dark phoenix, or a MaGyver?". Then, when they finish their little rant, just say "But MacGyver can never lose". Then, as they make another argument, say something stupid, like "He would blow her eyes out with a rubber band". Anyone agree with me?

Just make sure you can get away afterwards, or you'll get stuck in a debate that'll last for hours...

You could call them, and then put the phone down for 20 minutes while they talk away.

I've done that before. They hang up and hanangue me at school. The trick is to play pazaak in your head. Or hit them with a stick.

Whenever someone insist on debating with me I just say " kong sai ki oh! ". Really annoy the hell out of people. :D

Too bad I can't use that tactic here. ;)

I never have that problem, I always say that MacGyver would win :D
