I have recently relapsed into the Baldurs Gate addiction. However, When I try to initiate the installation process, I get an error saying:
16 bit Windows System C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. So my question is what am I to do, Because this has never happened before? |
what is your windows platform?

Stripped of comments and my modifications, here what should be in autoexec.nt
</font><blockquote>code:</font><hr /><pre style="font-size:x-small; font-family: monospace;">lh %SystemRoot%\system32\mscdexnt.exe lh %SystemRoot%\system32\redir lh %SystemRoot%\system32\dosx SET BLASTER=A220 I5 D1 P330 T3</pre>[/QUOTE]Comments are any lines with REM in them. Anyway, if you create an autoexec.nt in the right location with those lines, it should work. |
I'm gonna need more help than that, because I have no clue what your talking about.

Go to c:\windows\system32.
There, you will find the file autoexec.nt. Open it in notepad, and replace the contents with the ones in my above post. |
