I remember when I was trying to choose an mp3 player for Christmas, there were several people who gave me advice.

I'm also pretty at least a couple of people owned the Zen Touch.

In case I forget to tell everyone... I know have one, and I can't seem to copy non-music files onto it.

Is there a special thing to do?

Bah, are you just trying to make all us Non-owners-of-cool-mp3-players look bad? :D
Did you get any programs with it?
What does your computer recognise the device as?
Mine comes up like another Hard drive, so I can just drag files onto it.

I got a program with it... Creative MediaSource... for transferring songs, but doesn't seem to do owt else useful

It seems to show up as a hard drive, and I can drag and drop songs... but for other types of file, it says that the player cannot play these types of file, but perhaps windows media player can convert them to a playable type. Heh heh... fat chance of it converting my geography essay into a song...

So I have to click skip... and the file is not stored :(

Can you just rename the file from *.txt (Or whatever it is) to *.mp3???

Yes I think it'll buy that as it probably looks only at the extensions.

What you do is click on my computer, then under Other your Touch should be listed. Click on it, then click on your jukebox (I think that is the first menu, IIRC, but its simple anyways to follow) and then click on the Data tab rather than the Music one, and copy your stuff into there. That's how I do it anyways.

That is really weird... I could have sworn that the last time I clicked on Nomad Explorer in My Computer, it was just an ordinary folder like any other, full of songs... Now I have the data and music folders...

Ah well... it works now
Thanks Ross!
