jsut wonderin whats their stronghold and how do i get it and what can i do with it

You get the Order of the Radiant Heart in the temple district. You get to do a bunch of small quests. Your stronghold isn't good for much of anything else; you can't even rest there.

the holy avenger is part of the paladin stronghold quest (easily one of the most powerful weapons in SoA), and Baldurdash has a patch to let you sleep in your stronghold.

The Holy Avenger can also be obtained just as easily if you don't take the Paladin Stronghold, or if you're not even a Paladin and don't have one in your party.

The Paladin Stronghold itself is among the worst, second only to the Druid's, but you do get at least 1 nice item out of it. So you could easily do the quests, get the item(s).....and never go back there again.

As soon as you talk to Prelate Wessalen, and he TELLS you that you have a room there, you have the stronghold. You're supposed to be able to sleep there, but Baldurdash has a patch to fix the bug. Just run around doing what they tell you and take pride in your membership.

Running around doing what your superiors tell you while polishing your badges is the true spirit of a paladin.
