Okay, using a USB port, I have plugged in a second mouse. This means that I now have two mouses/mice controlling one cursor... I want a second cursor. Is there any way to do this? I need to know because I'm wondering if it would be possible to play split-screen games with someone on the same computer. My OS is Windows XP Home Edition, if it makes a difference.
Thanks in advance. |
It's only possible using a USB AND a PS/2 mouse. Two USB mice won't work. I can't really remember how, but I used to play Serious Sam on a single PC in Split-Screen using that method.

Yeah, just the one mouse is plugged in using a USB port. The other (my original) is plugged into PS/2.
As you say you've had experience with this, is it fairly easy to play with two people on the same computer, or can it get a bit fiddly trying to share the keyboard? |
I would imagine sharing the keyboard would be fiddly. Why not get a controller and a keyboard? Or 2 keyboards?

Now that is impossible. We simply played a WASD and alphanumeric side of keyboard versus the direction keys+Num keys. I think you need to fool around with the mouse settings or something, but I really can't remember.
