I havnt played this game in a while. I have completed it a couple of times so I know my way round the game and there arn't many suprises left in the game. I decided to complete it again and am wanting to have a different group to what I usually have( A good alighned one).

The Assassins good for dealin with humans and other weaker enemies especially with the poison with a bow or blade. I just don't think the kit is much use against dragons and illithids.

I like havin 2 mages and 2 clerics. Allows me to pound dragons with magic missles and holy smite (which could be a problem with an evil group, and also I get loads of protection from lvl drain). Also insect plague thing is a great spell of jaherie's for dealin with mages and groups.

I've completed the game with a similar group to this before but it bores me a little now.

Anyone recomend a really good evil group. I don't mind who's in it or what kit I would be playing. I want a challenge.

Your first 2 groups are very good. I played with that party except for Jaheira.

Who would be an improvement on Jaherie?. I havn't got far into the game yet and can still replace her easily.

Jaheira isn't bad. But I played with Jaheira every time and wanted something other. She's a good fighter and her druid spells are cool (insect plague, creeping doom, summon elementals etc.)So I think you should use her cause there isn't another neutral/evil fighter (at least none I can think of now) By the way the dialogues in this party are really funny.

Insect plague is the only way to deal with groups of mages and or or clerics. Disruptes all there spells. I don't bother with the other spells. She's mainly a fight when I use her. I suppose she does balence the group and has a good XP quest.

Insect plague works well against fighters too (though I only use it when there is a mage). It makes some fights a lot easier like the guarded compound. As for the good XP quest, it's really buggy. Dialogue loops and in a couple of my games it didn't trigger at all.

Why not try either Anomen or Haer'dalis, probably Haer'dalis. In my experience Jaheria isn't good for an evil party even though she's neutral she has ideas of honour and such. It would be fun taking Anomen and making him fail his test which will mean he will become chaotic neutral. Haer'dalis can be an excellent character if you give him a chance and equip him properly.

I was just thinkin of Anomen for the group. What can Heir Darlis do in a fight. I thought he was only good in TOB?. That'll leave my with

2 good, 3 evil, 1 neutral. Good mix. Unless I let Anomen fall then it'll be 4 evil and just little ol' me bein good.

What about weapons.

I'll get the staff of magi for Edwin

That magical throwin axe that comes back and the other powerfull one for korgan.
