Yeah so i Beet Bg2 for the first time on Hard with 1 mage... took me nearly a year of resting, but well worth it. Now i am kinda of stuck i am not sure what kind of Party i want to create now. I was gona try a massive archery party. But a good melee and magic party would own me in more then 2 ways. Then i figured why not try a mix... so this is what i got: 1 Enchanter - 2 archers - 2 BerZerkers and 1 Preist of Talos. Clerics are a givin. Have to have atleast 1 or you will be camping in one spot for 12 days. Is that any good? What should I add.

1)that's a large party. Since you're creating all of your NPC's it won't get you anymore dialouge and you have shown you can solo, so with fewer characters it might be hard enough to be a challenge. Why not consider one archer and beserker.

2)Instead of a beserker, why not a barbarian?

3)You need a thief. You should probably just dual a thief into a mage.

4)Why an enchanter?

Enchanters are my Favorite Type of mages and they work well with Berzerkers, The Berzerker goes into Enrage and the enchter and cleric buff them up. it's insane at how good they are. and a thief... :/ i can just use knock and detect traps.
