ok, i tried to download the cheat to bust the exp. cap...ok, it doesnt work?what did i do wrong?do i need a patch cuz i didnt download it?

it should be a file that goes into your override folder, assuming it is, make sure you ahve the correct version for the game you've got (ToB cap remover if u have ToB installed, SoA cap remover for SoA, I've heard of the SoA one doing strange things to HLA's in ToB)

which xpcapremover did you download (what should be the new xpcap and what extension is it (if you unzip it)? How did you know it didn't work cause maybe you have to start a new game or something.

It doesn't have to be. Mine was a .exe install program.

and i have a hunch that one reason it didnt work is because i was using the evaluation version of winzip

Everyone uses the eval version. I have never met someone who's registered it. Why bother? Unless you do a lot of complicated technical stuff every day like for your job, the civillian version is good enough for the general public.

The cheat. It sure isn't winzip's fault. The cap remover is either a .exe program which will install itself or a file you have to extract in your override folder. If it doesn't work you could try to download another.
