I am SO stupid, but ummmm...... I fought a stone golem and couldnt hurt it. I used an editor to see what weapons hurt it and:
"100% Magic Resistance" "Immunity to Non-Magical Weapons" "Immunity to Magical Weapons" How do you hurt it??? -Brainless One |
Use any +2 enchanted or higher weapons.

Thanx, but where is a lvl.11 solo mage supposed to find a +2 weapon? They cant use ANYTHING!
-Brainless One |
Melf's Minute Meteors are +5 enchanted... ...
Enchanted Weapon is +4 enchanted... ... |
doesnt magic resistance effect that?

Hmm, you think Stone Golems are hard, wait till you get admantine golems.. :D </font> |
Actually, very few people complain about Adamantium Golems( since it is mostly a case of see who bash harder). Clay Golems usually cause more grief to those who do not know their immunities.
|
what i found out is that golems are weak to clubs and flails. try to use the flail of all ages.

1)stone golems are the easiest of all golems.
2)the only easier ones are the lesser clay variety found in the starting dungeon. 3)Adamantine Golems aren't that difficult as long as you can get them stuck in a position that they can't reach you. Then you can pick away at them (slowly) with either the Sling of Everard, or that Bow that doesnt need any arrows. Melee combat is suicide against them. 4)all in all clay golums are effectively the most dangerous. They can haste themselves and there other golem friends, and then cast slow on your party. That and they are very picky as to which weapons they let hurt them. |
