I was wondering if I was the only person on these boards who plays FFXI? I've been an addict for years, but it has a pretty small following compared to games like Wow (which I'm scared to even play lol, one addiction is bad enough).

It used to catch a good few people I know, but it seems like it dropped out of favour due to it being party-unfriendly and flooded with farmers.

I also know at least one person who dropped his FFXI to pick up Guild Wars because GW was prettier.

Yeah ffxi still pulls in the numbers, there is usually an average of 2-3000 players on my server at any one time, however I have never met someone else who plays, out of game. Thought maybe IW had a few fanboys.
