Jesus, that reads like it.
I notice that Europe, Russia, the Middle East and most of Asia are missing... Um. What the hell? It's not the first of April yet! |
Well because they would need the EU version. I don't think you would be banned, especially since many using the US version aren't in the US. Not just a few - hundreds of people.
|
I've check official wow forum, still no official clarification about this matter. *sigh*
|
I wouldn't worry personally, they'd lose more than they'd gain if they started banning. I wager it is simply a measure in their ToS to protect themselves (different laws in different countries such as China with it's restrictions on MMO's).
It is one of them things I imagine, like giving your friend a shot of your WoW account for an hour to try the game out, even though it is forbidden by the Terms. We all have done it at one point. |
Where did you buy it from Kakero?
If you imported the game then technically, yes they can ban your account. |
Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of. I even halted my payment for Burning Crusade just in case.
I bought mine from this website www.pcgame.com.my |
If you don't draw attention to yourself by using various IP's (Other people's PC's) then you should be fine, but I would not be surprised if they do searches for abnormal IP's (From other countries)
|
I don't think they're going to ban legit players with this. It's basically just an excuse to bad chinese farmers when they see them.
|
This is what I felt too. It's a techy detail to protect themselves. Be good and it won't be an issue.
