Access Keys for New Guild Wars Players

If you have a Guild Wars account—either a retail account or one that you created for a trial or a previous event—you are all set to participate in the Guild Wars Nightfall World Preview Event! Just log into your Guild Wars account at any time between 12:01 a.m. PDT on Friday, September 22nd and 11:59 p.m. PDT on Sunday, September 24th (between 07:01 GMT on Friday, September 22nd and 06:59 GMT on Monday, September 25th).

If you are new to the game, welcome to Guild Wars! We think you'll have a great time participating in our Nightfall World Preview Event. In order to join the event, you will need to create an account. To do so, simply click the "Download the Client" link on this page, or on the main page of our site. After you've downloaded the client—which takes only a few seconds—please execute the client and follow the guided steps through the process of account creation.

Please add the appropriate key for your region when prompted during the account creation process.

You won't need the key Lav... As long as you have a spare slot you can try it out this weekend with the rest of us.

Well you don't need to play them in any order, or even play them all. You might as well give Nightfall a try to see if it even interest you.

Aye, and factions is independant - some don't even want it...but you may want this. I wanted to see it as the theme is one I like personally so will log on sometime during that preview.

Does it start DLing now or do I have to wait 'till preview starts. If I could download it today by starting up GW, then I could just log on an access it when it goes live.

Okay just logged on and it's DLing so I guess thats the preview content. The new login screen is stunning...I was so bored with the Factions one. The music is also cool. I wonder if this expansion will have me playing GW a bit more...

Yeah nightfall is more PvE focused so if thats what you like then you should check it out.

Maybe it is just me but NIghtfall is a bit of a dissapointment. I can't put my finger on it either but all I can say is it seems to be more of the same...Factions brought alot of new stuff to GW but it doesn't seem the same here. I know it is just preview so I won't make a sure judgement yet until it goes retail.
