According to... well, pretty much anything from Alex Weeks, Gaile, NC Soft, ANet and the various preorder sites, the date of release for Guild Wars: Factions is April 28. You should forgive the complete lack of feeling this post has, I am beside myself with joy and I am unable to express myself.

Yeah I can't wait. I should have me pre-order key any day now and My CE version has already been reserved.

Why am I sorry, you ask? By your posting here, I am guessing that you're not playing GW right now... You have no idea, do you? Not a clue... ah, the blissfull ignorance...
But I shall tell you what you just missed... what you may pray will happen again just for you to catch... The Reset. Yes, you read this right. Approximately 2 and a half hours ago(I missed the start, can't be sure), the prices on the runes and most rare materials have been reset to 250 gold standards. Yes. Now now, TDC, banging your head on the table is not the answer... no, the gun is not the answer either... calm down... just breathe, everything is going to be fine... Some people will be considerably richer than you, but that's not the end, is it? Are you alright? Are you calm? OK, good.

EDIT: OK, after this gave you heart attack, get ready for this: seems they're reverting everything back to before the problem. Seem it was a dud. *sheds tear*

Yeah I know. I saw it all happening on GWonline. Then minutes later saw Anet roll everything back.

Was really the only fair thing to do as it was a glitch. That last reset was deliberate to balance the prices when they joined the traders across all regions.

I sure hope the release of Factions draws some players away from WoW.
