LOL -- If it sucks, you're bound by confidentiality. If it's great, we'll let you talk.

Yay, now tell us about the death penalty. Is it xp debt? Item dmg? Both?

I read XP.

Taking Damage, Death and Dying
If your hit point total drops to 0 or below, you will fall down and become incapacitated. If you are below 0 hit points, you will continue to lose 1 hit point every few seconds until you either automatically stabilize (10% chance every few seconds). While you are in this state, you can wait for another party member to heal you, or you can choose to abandon your quest and respawn in Stormreach, at the Tavern you have chosen earler to be your respawn point by speaking to the resident Cleric but each time with a significant experence penalty never enough to loose a level but, everything gained on that mission you deserted. (When you arive at the tavern you will have +1 hit points and will need to eat or rest until you recover all your hit points.) If you stay in quest Once you reach –10 hit points, you die and become a ghost, dropping a unique item called a soulstone. At this point, you can still wait for another party member to come along and raise you (although keep in mind that raise dead spells are much harder to come by than simple healing spells), and you can still choose to abandon your quest and respawn in Stormreach. You can also have a party member pick up your soulstone and carry it to a resurrection shrine – you can usually (but not always) find resurrection shrines near rest shrines. Once your soulstone is near a resurrection shrine, simply double-click it to revive yourself with no Experence penalty just time lost. [ 01-11-2006, 10:37 AM: Message edited by: TheCrimsomBlade ] |
Do you know I may just order it cuz I've been yearning for something new to play. WoW is great and all but I long for that feeling of wonder when you first start playing a good game. The implementation of the rules make me feel nostalgic for D&D again...
