I actually dislike my pet, he doesn't do jack except eat meat and sometimes hold aggro. Good find though, WoW has a good musical fanbase, like the one about the sea captain.

LOL. That chick is nuts. Can someone please clarify if those uber-owls are powerful? She certainly makes it out to be.

They're ok but not the most powerful pet IMHO. Just a regular Owl. Cats or wolfies are better. Bears are good too.

Zul'Gurub Bats are the faster pets regarding chase speed IIRC. I've heard they are the best.

Frostwolves are faster IIRC although the ZG one is pretty popular.
