In response to what Crimsom Blade said in Z's thread about bored at level 36, I would like to inform you that...

Blizzard has patented the title The Burning Crusade, obviously as their next big title. So it can either be their next RTS, or an expansion to WoW. Obviously, very very little information is known, but I just want to know what you guys think.

Definately not. If you've played WoW, you would know that this title is definately in relation to the Warcraft series.

Burning Legion- Demons lead by the once noble titan Sargeras. Pretty much the bane of every world.

Add the fact that the Burning Legion has three main vendettas to settle (Illidian, the growing might of the Scourge, and stealing the potent energies from Azeroth) and the name "The Burning Crusade" fits rather nicely.

I'd really think that it would be a new RTS, but seeing as how MMO's need to pump out expansions fast before the game gets dull, I'd imagine it is for a new MMO. But I am still leaning towards a new RTS.

It's probably the WoW extention. One is due to come out soon, and the Burning Crusade is what the demons called their attack on Azeroth.
