Is Blizzard offering some sort of free trial period for WoW? I'd really like to try it out and see what all the buzz is, but I'm not going to go and buy it and waste something like $150 if I don't like it.

Think the only way is to get a guest pass from someone :\

You get a 10 day guest pass for a friend when someone buys the Collectors Edition.

So get a friend of yours to buy it, get the 10 day pass, and see if you like it ;)

I may have one lying around if you still need one. You will still need the cds to install the game... the guestpass is just a temp product key.

My brother got a guest pass in with his regular game when he bought it.

I think they added them to the regular ones now that they don't make anymore collector ones.
