Gotta be in spirit form to get in.. beware, I hear Blizzard doesn't like that, as it's not a finished area... lol

Yeah, watch out if you go in unfinished zones. That problem gets worse with flying mounts and people who try to get as far as they can into these zones.

Hey where is it lol? I doubt anyone will fault me if I wander in accidentally :D . Ever go into Undercity in spirit form? There are strange sights to be seen indeed!

In the Ironforge throne rom are two locked doors.

Get into spirit form, and you can walk trough the doors. One take you to old Ironforge.

I keep hearing about Undercity as a ghost, I went, but saw nothing, what am I supposed to see?

I do believe in the entrance to the Undercity via ruined Loradaeron City has lots of ghosts or such. I think warlocks with detect invisibility can see it too.

Yes. There are lots of spirits wandering around. The most interesting one is the ghost of Arthas and his father fighting which you can actually hear when you aren't in ghost-form too (but not see) when you are in the throne room of Undercity.

I haven't had a chance to look for the old IF since the servers are down (grrr) but will do when I get back in.

I went into the courtyard before, and even the throne room, and saw nothing...

I heard the voices before, but that's it.

when dead you only see the things close to your corpse. Go into the Undercity with detect invisibility and you get suprises.

And going into the unfinished areas has had some people suspended to warn you, careful of being found. I took it further and went to Mount Hyjal, that is a nice place once they finish it. Archimode's giant skeleton is there.

I'm alliance, and have no warlock. It make it hard to explore around.

SpiritWarrior 04-01-2005 11:36 AM

Since they reward and encourage exploration, I don't really see any harm in it personally.

I was reading a GM's post in the forums. They don't immediately suspend your account however, but first inform you that this area is off-limits and that you shouldn't be there. Only if you go back after your warning would they usually take action. They recognise that people are curious and that they uploaded the unfinished areas unto the server so it is bound to happen sooner or later.
