After giving the stones to the portal and getting the item and heading out the exit to the minotaur level. On the minotaur level I think I missed something....LOL....I saw areas that I couldn't seem to get too. What were the paintings for and the mithril tokens? I gave the horns to the minotaur statue and headed on. My questions are what...if anything did I miss and can I go back or do I need to restart my game from my save just outside spellhold. Oh yeah and one more thing I almost forgot. Saemon offers to teleport me to the surface which I took, but the other offer was the portal to possibly the underdark, or is that NOT really an option. Was that the entrance to the underdark or is that still to come. Saemon is supposedly going to take me to Suldenesslar. Is this the right path or is it the only path. I think that's all the questions I have. LOL.... Thanks everyone. Have a good one.

Remember when you first entered the level, there were two doors? You have only explored the bottom door, and not gone through the top door. The top door leads to a machine that uses the mitril tokens to create items, one of which are the Boots of Speed. The paintings are used to open up special cells which contain the appropriate monster according to the painting.

Thanks Dundee, But when I tryed entering that door it said that it needed something special to open it. Exploring the bottom area didn't seem to produce anything that would allow me to open that door.

U know how there r those minotaurs guarding a room on the level where u meet Bohdi? Beside them r a door, inside the door is a pool with 3 statues on them. On the statues and the pool r the keys to those painting doors. But be careful when taking those keys, coz they r trapped and one of them has a Disgenerate spell.
