My mate is looking a new graphics card as his current one is rubbish and he ls looking to get World Of Warcraft. So in the price range between £50 and £100 what would be the best card he could get his hands on.

Thx in advance

Dunno, but I have an old Geforce4 Ti 4600, and with all graphics set to high, riding the griffon is sometimes a slideshow.

I'm saving up SLOWLY for a Geforce 6800..

You won't get anything in that price range that is amazing. A ti 4200 or 4600 will cost you about 100ish and will play WoW fine but not flawlessly. There will be some choppiness and slowdown. Add and extra 100 and you could grab an ati 98 pro or something. I just bought one for my secondary system.

Check out these 'This Week Only' offers at Overclockers UK

Some awesome deals with ATI Radeon Pros, both 9700 and 9800s (scroll down, three diff cards on offer)

Great service too.

My son is playing WoW now and he has an ATI Radion 9600 PRO in his and has an extreemly clear and clean picture with no drag what so ever. The Price:£34.50 (£40.54 Including VAT at 17.5%) as quoted at Overclockers UK look under ATI 9500-9600 AGP cards.
The ATI 9700 is made for the lap top computer and has the exact same specs as the 9600 XT but is not made for the dest top computer The 9800 costs over £200.00 or close to $450.00 in the states and unless your going to get the ALL-IN-WONDER 9800 XT I would save your money and get the 9600Pro it will handle any game on the market for the next few years.

If your looking value over go with ATI, they tend to be much cheeper..

You should be able to pick up an old 9800 pro or XT in that price range if you shop around.
