1) Is a troll hunter a decent character? (solo/group wise)
2) What is the most efficient solo character to play?
3) Does the alliance/Horde mixup really matter?
4) How noob friendly is it?
5) Are pets/summons well balanced?
Thanks in advance, I'm looking forward to this for Xmas.

1) I really liked trolls, and hunters are really populars.

2)Warlocks are really good solo, from what I've heard and seen. They get good summons, and their summons can learn skills.

3)At first you don't speak the same language, so when you hear someone from another race speak you get stuff you can't understand. You can learn their languages.

You are ennemies. If you go into one of their town their guards will kill you. You can't send them private messages or trade with them. If you are in a pvp server they can kill you on sight.

I liked the horde races and area a lot more than the alliance ones, but my friend got the game first and choose alliance, so I'm playing them right now.

4) The in-game help system guide you at first, and give you pop-up advices for your first few actions. The first quests help you learn the basic too. For example, in a quest you get to deliver something by griphon and they pay the ride, so that you can learn about gryphons.

5) Hunters get to tame about any "animal" monster, Warlock get to summon demons, from imp, succubus to a cool looking demon "dog" that look a little like diablo in Diablo 2.

Hunter's pet gain level by themselves, Warlock summon are the same level as the warlock.

In beta, you had to keep your hunter pet happy and feed it if you didn't want it to leave you, it seemed really annoying. I'm not sure if they tweaked that. Warlock don't have to care about their summon, they follow you loyaly and if they die you can just resummon them.

You get an action bar for your pet, so that you can order it to attack, stay behind, use one of his skill...
