Sorry if there is another topic on this, but i haven't had time to read the entire BG2 forum. OK, i had to kill Minsc (there was no way to avoid it because i was hurting badly, already exhausted my spells, and restiong put me over the 10 day limit for Minsc) in BG1, so, if i import my character into BG2, will Minsc still be in the cages at the beginnig of the game?

I think so. You'll notice a lot of "dead" NPC's have been mysteriously "resurrected" in BG2; in fact, quite often you'll get the dialog option, "{NPCNAME}! Aren't you supposed to be dead?"

don't worry. I freaked out it BG1 cause i didn't know there was a limit and all fo a sudden he left. but he's back anyway. don't know why, seeing as he ditched me and whatnot, oh well. he's my favourite in the party i have now.
