Dundee has mentioned that he knows only one person to complete the game as a solo avenger. I have taken the challenge and if you all wish I shall sum up the significant victories and defeats for you all here! If you don't wanna hear about it till I beat the game, just let me know. But here's the first installment!
::cue heroic music::
Here are her base stats.
Strength: 8
Dexterity: 7
Constitution: 16
Intelligence: 18
Wisdom: 18
Charisma: 15
Initial proficiencies in sword-and-shield style, scimitar, and sling.

Day one, three hours into the game. Mun time.
Day 18, hour 17. Spent most of game so far as a spider. Saved the circus and the slaves at the Copper Coronet. Freed the slaves from the Captain. Still wondering why they had so many children. Speculate that Jacko is involved somehow. When running into the trolls at the slaver compound, I notice that poison kills them. Vow not to exploit the bug and summon a Fire Elemental whenever trolls are incoming again. Cranked difficulty up to Insane due to easiness.
Glad that I can sell every scroll of magic I find. Already have enough money to save Imoen if I wanted to, and that's after I bought lots of equipment. Started the Mae'Var quest.
Stats after this installment:
Level 12, over ten thousand gold pieces.
Scimitar+1
Buckler
Leather Armor+3
Helm of Balduran
Girdle of Hill Giant Strength
Ring of Human Influence
Nymph Cloak
Scroll Case
Gem Bag
New proficiency: Quarterstaff

Ruminations: I am saddened that there is no way for me to pick pockets. I sat and stared at Ribald for five minutes, knowing he had that Ring of Regeneration that was calling to me, begging to be taken from him. In traditional DND, druids can have animal companions. I would give anything for a ferret or something like that to pick pockets and locks. Sadly, I don't have that. Summoned nymphs are actually pretty good in a fight.. but not as good as fire elementals.

Cool, Illumina! Sounds rather interesting to say the least. But...isn't Faldorn one of the NPC druids in the Trademeet Druid Grove? That should be a hoot...

Faldorn hits Faldorn for 20 damage (which one?)
Faldorn is poisoned! (gheez I hope that's her and not me!)
Faldorn summons Fire Elemental
Fire Elemental attacks Faldorn (oh f--- did it turn on me?! Oh, no, thank gods, it's on her...)

Cheers, and have fun!

I thought Faldorn was an NPC druid in the first BG...and also, are you SURE Jacko is involved with the slaver children? I thought that would be chimpanzees...

Faldorn makes a cameo appearance in the Druid Grove in BG2 as well.

I noticed that too. And with a STR of 8 as well. Stay out of combat, thats all im saying. And dont get shot at either.

Mind you, gauntlets of dexterity, belt of giant strength, its possible.

Actually as the druid, when you shapechange(notice they did most of the game in spider form so far) it automatically changes your STR/DEX to what that creature's is.

Ok, first of all, I *KNOW* Faldorn is from BG1 and BG2.. That's where I got the NAME from! I even took her portrait! Call me uncreative, fine, but I didn't have much time to think of a name.
Her low strength is no longer a problem thanks to my brand-new Girdle of Hill Giant Strength. Next on my list of things to get is the Gauntlets of Dexterity.

What I wouldn't have given for a gem bag and scroll case and especially a Bag of Holding in the dungeon, I could have made out with so much more loot.. I was able to take so much of it without being encumbered because as I said before most of the game so far was spent as a sword spider, with a 16 dex and I forget how much strength.. but it was enough.

Actally it was my solo avenger that was doing the classic damsel in distress act, but now im getting fine with her. But one major major question, whats the use of having an extremely intelligent druid  does it affect the flow of the game, gives addtional spells too ??
