I've just completed BG/ToSC & now I want to import my protagonist into BG2 to continue the story.
Pls refresh my memory on what needs to be done:

1. Install SoA
2. Patch SoA
3. Install ToB
4. Patch ToB
5. Baldurdash ToB.
6. Ready to rock & roll!!

BTW, some time ago I read that in order to restore the Claok of Mirroring to its SoA state all I had to do was to delete a file from the override flder. What was that file again?

if you're going to install TOB then you *don't* need to install the SOA patch (step 2).

If you want the Robe of Vecna, the Shield of Balduran, and/or the Sling of Everard, remember the Bonus Merchants CD patch, too!

Also, does the Baldurdash Fixpack fix the Grandmastery bug for fighters?

I noticed and fixed.. My PC is really slow, and when I was posting initially I noticed that I typed in 16 instead of 26, so I hit the "stop" key and hoped it didn't post yet, changed the one to a two, and hoped for the best. Didn't get around to checking if I posted twice till now. Oh well.

I should clarify - the Baldurdash fixpack I'm installing is the latest ToB one, dated Sept 2001 or thereabouts.

TOB adds one of the bonus merchants, so both the Robe and the Shield are already present, I've never bothered to get the Sling so I don't know about it.
