I'm also a fan of funny acronyms. My current favourite is "CARP", the Canadian Association of Retired Persons. Apologies to those who may be members, but you must agree that it is an unfortunate name.

Already knew a few of them but the rest is funny as hell as well :D

This one reminds me of soemthing a classmate said in college, there was an teacherstrike imminent, a day before the"deadline" the german teacher decided to have a discussion about it and this guy, really a "I know everthing better than everybody" type, blurts out "Yes there is most likely going to be a strike..." everyone was quiet for few seconds and then he added, "Unless they come to an agreement"...
