Why don't u try using Fireballs and Cloudskill? They all die from the first impact. Real useful against a lot of small demons that r weak.

Yeah, if you leave pai'nai until chapter 3 all your party members will be strong enough to withstand a direct blast from a fireball. Don't forget to have your clerics and druids, maybe a ranger or paladin if that's what you're using, memorise the lvl 2 spell "slow poison" and keep lots of antidotes with you.

Alternatives:

Sunfire and Fireball. Just remember to boost up your fire resistances with spells, scrolls and potions.

the best way to kill those nsty spiders is to cast down 2syncronized fireballs... believe me their balls will be on fire!!!!

If you're fast enough, you can pause the game before the dialogue is initiated. Then have your entire party arm missile weapons (or have mages cast magic missile) at Pan'ia. As she's already targeted, when the dialogue is finished, your party will "let fly." I've been able to take her out twice now without her being able to summon any spiders.

However, if that fails, be prepared with fireballs or oil of burning to take them out.
